Taneční studio

Regular lessons are designed for the general public aged 10 to 99 years old. They are suitable for both beginners and advanced. Each lesson will be adapted to the group that is currently present on that day.

WHERE?

The ballet hall in the Small Theatre (entrance through the reception)

WHEN

On Mondays and Wednesdays from 05.05 to 06.05 pm., a dance studio starts on 5 October 2016.

WHAT?

"Contemporary dance" combines the techniques of ballet and modern techniques, taking the source in them. Dancers try to subordinate technique and movement to the main idea of the overall expression, technique is based on the work of the center of gravity, its shifts off its axis, controlled falls, slow and fast movement, as well as with abstraction in dance language. The content of the lessons of Contemporary dance is also a technical versatility, finding new possibilities and boundaries of dance and finding its essence in its purest form.

HOW?

We start the lesson by warming-up, then there is stretching, practicing dance techniques and ultimately we connect everything into a short choreography. The choreography may be more lyrical, dynamic, street, latin, musical, and so on.

WHY?

The aim is to improve your technical skills, and also the quality and aesthetics of the movement as well as the depth of expression and experience, but mainly to spend time in an enjoyable way and do something for yourself, your body and soul.

PRICE

Individual admission fee CZK 100 / lessons (at the box office of the Šalda Theatre or before the start of the lessons at the teacher). A season ticket 900 CZK / 10 lessons + 2 free tickets to the ballet DFXŠ (the box office of the Šalda Theatre)
