More than a year after the staging of the Foerster´s opera Eva, the autumn ballet premiere will bring – with dramaturgical intention - a completely different adaptation of the same original work. A drama Gazdina Roba by Gabriela Preissová is an immortal, almost Shakespearean tale "dressed in a shirt of the Czech realism”. In our case, it will again be arrantged into a form of a dance theatre with the role of the narrator. The director and choreographer Alena Pešková will again cooperate with a composer, singer, actress and a quinton player Gabriela Vermelho (Jessie and Morgiana, Blood Wedding ...) who will lead through the whole plot and comment on it. The tragic story of Eve, trying to find her personal happiness despite the social traditions, is close to both authors by the location of the plot (Moravian Slovakia) as well as humanely. Forbidden love, overcoming social conventions at the cost of personal tragedy of their lives ... All this in movement, gesture, word, music, symbol and emblem.
