At the turn of the 20s and 30s of the last century, Hollywood became a scene of one of the greatest revolutions in the history of the cinematography. It was just in that period, when the studio Warner Bros.. showed viewers the first spoken films, so-called "talkies", the huge success of which finally finished the era of the silent film.
It is the year 1927 and the star pair of the silver screen Don Lockwood and Lina Lammont are exposed to the fact - from one day to the other -, that they will have not only to talk in front of the camera, but even to sing! It is no problem for Don, unlike Lina, whose voice is, to say it gently, not entirely pleasant. It already seems that the movie will end as a fiasco when a young and beautiful beginning actress Kathy Selden appears, and she charms Don at first, and then she accepts an offer to dub Lina.
Singing in the Rain, one of the most famous film musicals of all times, had its premiere in 1952, and 33 years later, his screenwriters gave it also a theatrical form. We can look forward to wonderful music, well-known songs and a brilliant dance figures, all in the classic Hollywood cocktail of a love affair and a crazy comedy. The musical will be done by the same team.
